Eu-Psi Project

The EU-PSI project

a 3-year project (September 2000 - August 2003) for developing mental health research infrastructure. The project which was coordinated by the University of Helsinki, involved several European universities, and the five Cochrane Review Groups within the field of mental health:

aimed at promoting access to and improving dissemination of information on the effects of prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of mental health related conditions. To reach this aim, two databases were produced; the freely available database of mental health trials, PsiTri, and The Mental Health Library (produced by Update Software ltd, Oxford, UK) which includes PsiTri, Cochrane systematic reviews, other appraisals of high quality research evidence, and evidence-based guidelines in mental health.
